River Bend Links was originally created through an unusual alliance of three casinos that saw the need for alternative entertainment for their guests and the public. Built next to the Mississippi River where a bounty of animals still inhabit the area, during the round you may see a deer, fox, or wild turkey.
Golf course architect Clyde Johnston describes his River Bend Links course as “a field of dunes.” Clyde transformed this cotton field into a marvelous Scottish links-style course. The name alone conjures images of a wind-swept treeless terrain, and that is exactly what guests see during a round at River Bend Links. River Bend Links is a par 72, 6,900-yard masterpiece featuring lakes, sand, grass bunkers and strategically placed mounds.
